The Westchester Turkey Trot, presented by Northwell Orthopedics, runs on Thanksgiving morning from Grasslands Road in Valhalla. Families have a 10K, a 5K and two options built for children: a free Kids 100M Dash at 8:45 a.m. and a reduced-price Kid's Division entry for the 5K. Registration is on RunSignup, and TriStateRuns, which also produces the New York City Turkey Trot in Queens, keeps parking, packet pickup and course details on its Westchester race page. The free dash is a good fit for preschoolers who want to run before the family's holiday meal.
