About this adventure
Philadelphia's Thanksgiving morning parade of giant balloons, floats and performers runs from 20th Street and JFK Boulevard east on JFK, then west up the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps. Coverage starts at 8:30 a.m. with a 30-minute pre-show, followed by about three hours of parade and performances. Eakins Oval, Logan Circle and the Art Museum finish are popular family viewing spots; streets along the route close, so SEPTA or PATCO is easiest.
