About this adventure

The Bucks County Roadrunners, which calls itself the largest running club in Bucks County, holds its 36th annual Thanksgiving Day races from Summit Square Shopping Center in Langhorne. The five-miler and 5K start at 9 am and run through Middletown Township streets toward Core Creek Park and back, and a one-mile out-and-back fun run starts at 9:04 am. Families can enter a family team name when registering to compete for the fastest-family awards, and the 5K has an age group for children 10 and under. Current fees are $27.50 for the mile fun run and $50 for the 5K or five-miler, rising in November. Advance packet pickup is at Peruzzi Nissan, 165 Lincoln Hwy in Fairless Hills, on Saturday, November 21 from noon to 2 pm, and race-day pickup starts at 7:30 am near the start and finish. The races run rain or shine and support local holiday charities.
