About this adventure
Wilsonville Parks and Recreation sets up a 'Letters to Winter Wonderland' station at its administrative office for the first weeks of December. Children can stop by on any weekday, pick up a letter template, write or draw their holiday wishes and drop the letter off; every letter turned in with a return address by December 17 receives a reply from Winter Wonderland by mail. It is a simple, free holiday activity for preschoolers who dictate to a parent as well as early readers and writers practicing their letters. The station is also brought to the city's Community Tree Lighting at Town Center Park on December 3 for families who prefer to write their letter there. Questions about the city's holiday programs go to Parks and Recreation at 503-783-7529.
