About this adventure

About a quarter mile from the zoo, beside the park's boathouse, Carousel Village centers on a historic indoor carousel with classic horses, benches and real and mythical creatures to ride; children under 4 must ride with an adult. Next to it is the Hasbro Boundless Playground, a colorful, fully enclosed accessible playground that a Mr. Potato Head greets at the entrance, with a toddler area, slides, drums, play panels along a labyrinth of walkways, swings and climbing structures; children with physical disabilities can use at least 70% of the play activities without leaving their support equipment. The playground is open all year. The outdoor Carousel Express train runs seasonally, weather permitting, and is not wheelchair accessible. Questions go to info@rwpzoo.org or (401) 785-3510 ext. 316.
