About this adventure
Battleship Cove opens to homeschool families for a morning of hands-on naval history and science. Families can go aboard and inside a battleship, a submarine and a destroyer, and learn about the roles the ships played in the wars. Tickets cover all the ships and exhibit buildings. Optional workshops cover physics, flight, boat construction and communication. Drop-in workshops are free; paid workshops cost about $7, include take-home crafts and must be booked in advance. Recommended ages for the workshops start at 5 or 8, depending on the session. Space is limited; buy tickets through the event page.
