About this adventure

Oak Knoll's monthly free drop-in morning in its Nature Center takes on two of the sanctuary's spookiest residents for Halloween week. Families move at their own pace between exhibits and activity stations about local bats, from echolocation to how fast they hunt insects, and about spiders' web spinning, engineering and predator strategies. Afterwards there is an optional walk on the sanctuary trail to look for these creatures and other signs of the season. Come and go any time during the two hours; dress for the weather if you plan to join the walk.
