About this adventure
An interactive, beginner-friendly music afternoon at Dix Park's Gipson Play Plaza with the Raleigh Music Collective. Two youth quartets perform, then everyone is invited to try instruments and play along together — easy ones like boomwhackers, bucket-band percussion, hand percussion and kazoos — so even toddlers can join in. It is free and designed for all ages. Registration is required so that you receive weather-cancellation notices; it opens two weeks before at noon. The play plaza's entrances, paths and play areas are fully accessible.
