About this adventure

San Leandro Public Library invites the community to celebrate Hanukkah together at the Main Library on Estudillo Avenue on Tuesday, December 8, at 5:30 PM, the fifth evening of the holiday. The library describes it as a fun, educational gathering: participants learn about Hanukkah and its traditions and light the menorah as a group. There are activities for kids, and treats are provided by As Kneaded Cafe. The event works both as an introduction for families who are new to the holiday and as a shared lighting for those who celebrate it at home, and the early-evening start suits young children after school. The listing does not mention registration, so families can simply come by; check the library's calendar for any updates closer to the date.
