About this adventure

Opening night of the Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Ice Rink at City Center Bishop Ranch in San Ramon is a ticketed celebration on Friday, November 6, from 6 to 7 PM. A special $35 opening-night ticket buys a place among the first skaters of the season, along with on-ice performances and a visit from Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi, whose name the rink carries. The rink is new for this season under an overhead canopy, so the evening goes ahead even if the weather turns. Tickets are sold online through the rink's ticket site, and all sales are final. Regular 90-minute public sessions start the same week and run through January 3, and the next morning Yamaguchi helps lead a beginner skating clinic for children 5 and older.
