About this adventure

The Moraga Chamber of Commerce's Thanksgiving-morning community run on the cart path at Moraga Country Club. There are two 'unofficial' self-timed courses: a 5K that starts at 8:05 AM and a 1.5-mile run/walk that starts at 8:15 AM, which suits younger children and stroller-pushers. Costumes, activewear and pajamas are all welcome, with awards for the best Thanksgiving-themed costume and the fastest turkey in each race, plus random bib-number prize draws from local businesses. Registrants get a numbered bib, a T-shirt (sizes not guaranteed) and goodies while they last. Children 4 and under run free but must still be registered and wear a bib, and everyone on the course must sign the waiver. There is no day-of registration and parking is limited, so carpool or walk over if you can. You do not need to belong to the Chamber or the country club.
