About this adventure

Pleasanton North Rotary's Thanksgiving-morning run, walk or stroll at Ken Mercer Sports Park, now in its twelfth year. The course starts with a paved loop around the park, then follows the flat Arroyo Mocho Trail; the 5K turns back at Lin Gate Circle and the 10K at Stoneridge Drive, and anyone can simply walk or stroll whatever distance suits them. It is billed as family- and dog-friendly (leashed dogs), with a pre-race warm-up at 8:45 AM, coffee and snacks, sponsor and nonprofit booths and a finisher medal for every registrant. Kids can decorate an 'I am thankful for…' race bib on site before the start. Youth and under-10 prices are low and babies in strollers ride free, which makes it an easy first holiday race for families. Proceeds support youth service programs in the Tri-Valley. Bring the registration QR code to packet pickup on Nov 25 or race morning from 7:30 AM.
