About this adventure

A winter-break afternoon concert of Disney songs by Maestro Lawrence Kohl and the Pacific Chamber Orchestra at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore. The program walks through music families already know: 'Be Our Guest' from Beauty and the Beast, songs from The Little Mermaid and favorites from other Disney musicals. Livermore's Nicole King, who starred in Anastasia, headlines with tenor Ken Christopher and the PCO Chorus. A 3:00 PM Sunday start between Christmas and New Year's makes it an easy outing with school-age children who like singing along to film songs, and a gentle first orchestra concert for kids.
