About this adventure

Decorated boats light up the York River at 7 p.m., competing for best in show, after an hour of caroling around glowing braziers, a performance by the Fifes and Drums of York Town and complimentary hot cider from 6 p.m. The parade has brought the community together for more than two decades and is sponsored by the Yorktown Foundation. Families watch from the Yorktown waterfront; visitors are advised to bring flashlights to get around town after dark.
