About this adventure

The Victorian Society of Falls Church opens historic Cherry Hill Farmhouse for a free celebration of Christmas as it was kept in the 1860s and 1870s. Costumed re-enactors welcome visitors into rooms dressed with period decorations, carolers sing old-fashioned carols, and there are children's activities through the morning. It is a gentle, hands-on way for kids to see how families celebrated the holidays 150 years ago. No registration is needed. The Falls Church Farmers Market runs the same morning in front of City Hall, so park in the Kaiser Permanente garage, the lower level of the George Mason Square garage (via South Maple) or on side streets and walk over.
