About this adventure

A two-hour family gingerbread session at the McLean Community Center on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Each registration covers one pre-built gingerbread house, and the center supplies the frosting and a spread of candy toppings so families can design their own one-of-a-kind house, with light refreshments on the side. Parents or guardians must stay and supervise anyone 16 or younger, so it works best as a shared project for a parent and one or two children. Registration is required in advance through the center's ActiveNet system (activity no. 4501.226). The products may contain dairy, gluten, eggs and other allergens, so families with food allergies should plan accordingly. Bring a box or tray to carry the finished house home.
