About this adventure
Richmond's Barefoot Puppet Theatre brings a seasonal puppet show for the youngest theatergoers to the Smithsonian's Discovery Theater: two classic tales rolled into one, as Little Red chases a mischievous gingerbread cookie through the snowy woods to Grandma's house, with the Big Bad Wolf, original music and hand, rod and shadow puppets. It is recommended for ages 3 to 7 and runs on three weekday mornings in the Ripley Center on the National Mall, at 10 and 11:15 am. Tickets are required; school groups fill many seats, so book early.
