About this adventure

On weekends from Thanksgiving weekend until just before Christmas, the National Capital Trolley Museum in Colesville runs Holly TrolleyFest: families ride one of the museum's historic streetcars along its mile-long woodland railway, where Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting to greet visitors. Back at the museum there is a holiday model railroad display presented with the Washington, Virginia & Maryland Garden Railway Society, children's crafts, festive photo spots, hot chocolate and treats. Admission is per person and reservations are required, so book a time once ticket sales open.
