About this adventure

Tudor Place's annual fall youth and family morning turns the historic Georgetown estate's five-acre garden into a Halloween trail. Children come in costume and gather treats (both food and non-food items) at stops around the gardens, then stay for crafts, games and face painting, while grown-ups get coffee, cider and other goodies. The program runs from 10 a.m. to noon on Halloween morning, which leaves the rest of the day free for neighborhood trick-or-treating, and it is held outdoors rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Tickets are priced per person with separate member and non-member child rates and a ticket for each accompanying adult, and registration is through Eventbrite. It suits preschoolers through early-elementary kids who like a calmer, daytime Halloween.
