About this adventure
The ninth Middleton Turkey Trot starts and finishes behind the Flint Public Library on Thanksgiving morning, rain or shine, and raises money for local charities. The 5K is a lollipop course that follows Middleton Pond on paved road, then runs on hard-packed dirt and residential back roads with some rolling hills, so it suits kids who can already cover three miles at a run or a walk alongside a parent. Children 15 and under have their own youth registration at a lower fee. Every finisher gets a medal, and runners who register by November 12 are guaranteed a long-sleeve shirt; age-group awards are given. Early packet pickup is on Wednesday, November 25 at TrueView Financial (259 S Main St); race-day registration and pickup open at 6:30 am inside the library.
