About this adventure

The Forest Preserve District of Will County invites visitors to meet local beekeeper Dade Bradley at Plum Creek Nature Center on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. Bradley talks about the art of beekeeping, from bee basics to hive maintenance, shares tips with new and experienced beekeepers alike, and answers bee-related questions from visitors. The drop-in program is free, open to all ages and needs no registration. Plum Creek Nature Center, on S. Dutton Road north of Goodenow Road in Crete Township near Beecher, is an accessible facility; requests for an auxiliary aid or service should be made at least 48 hours before the program. The visitor center is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the surrounding preserve's trails are open from 8 a.m. to sunset.
