About this adventure
Deer Park Parks & Recreation's pre-Thanksgiving tradition moves indoors at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center: families compete in archery and riflery target challenges for the chance to win a turkey to take home. The city pitches it as an evening to gather the family and test your aim, with staff running the ranges. The event runs from 5 to 9 pm on a Thursday, and the entry fee is lower for Deer Park residents. The page does not give a minimum age for the riflery or archery stations, so check age rules with the contact listed before bringing young children.
