About this adventure
A free weekly preschool storytime at the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science in Clute. Every Wednesday morning, museum staff or a guest reader read a new picture book, followed by hands-on activities tied to the story. Themes follow the seasons and the natural world, for example pumpkins, skeletons and bats in October. It is aimed at preschoolers with a parent or guardian, and it is an easy, low-cost way to get young children used to visiting a natural science museum. Families should check in at the lobby desk on arrival. Afterward they can explore the museum's exhibits in the same building, which also houses the BASF Planetarium and art galleries.
