About this adventure
A 51-acre nature preserve in Arlington with seven short walking trails (each about a third of a mile), a hands-on kids' museum about Florida's natural history, butterfly and hummingbird gardens, a seasonal live butterfly exhibit and live animal exhibits. Families can walk the whole site at their own pace on general admission; the short trail loops suit small legs and strollers-in-arms outings. Guided trail tours and animal-encounter programs are available for groups of 15 or more booked at least a week ahead.
