About this adventure

Children's Theatre Company offers one ASL-interpreted and audio-described performance of Havana Hop, its January show for the youngest theatergoers, on Sunday, January 24, 2027 at 2 p.m. on the Cargill Stage. In this lively audience-participation play, young Yeila dreams of being a superstar but her stage fright keeps getting in the way; visiting her grandmother in Cuba, she discovers a new rhythm, adding a salsa spark to her hip-hop style, and finds the confidence to shine as she learns about her roots. One actress, writer and choreographer Paige Hernandez, brings three generations of women to life. The show runs about an hour with no intermission and is best enjoyed by ages 2 to 6. Tickets for this performance are $25 to $65, and lap passes for children 3 and younger are $5.
