About this adventure
Tyler State Park educators and the Southampton Free Library lead a short seasonal story walk for preschoolers. In January the group reads When Winter Comes and talks about what different animals do in winter, and which ones children can still spot when it is cold, with a short walk and activities along the way. The program is for ages 3 to 5 with an accompanying adult, and lasts one hour. The meeting spot changes each month and is shared after registration; some trails may be muddy and not stroller friendly, so plan footwear and carriers accordingly. The same program runs twice, Wednesday January 20 at 1 pm and Thursday January 21 at 10 am. It is free, but pre-registration is required: registration opens December 20 and closes at 5 pm the day before each session.
