About this adventure

The Walter Hill Renaissance program hosts its first Turkey Trot in Swedesboro on the morning after Thanksgiving, with a 5K run and a one-mile walk that start together at 10 am. Organizers pitch it as a holiday-weekend outing for the whole family and a good first race for beginners and young runners, and stroller runners are welcome. Check-in opens at 8:45 am, and medals go to the top three men and women overall and in age groups that begin with 10 and under and 11 to 14, so competitive kids have something to aim for; the awards ceremony follows at 11:15. All registration happens online, including on race day, and only credit or debit cards and Apple Pay are accepted, so families should sign up on their phones before arriving.
