About this adventure

Grammy-nominated violinist Jenny Oaks Baker brings her Christmas show to Mesa Arts Center's Ikeda Theater with Family Four, the musical ensemble of her own children, so young audience members get to watch kids performing alongside a professional. The program is a Christ-centered holiday concert of familiar Christmas carols in arrangements by composer Kurt Bestor, tied together by a script from author Jason F. Wright with narration and vocals by baritone Preston Yates, and soprano Lisa Hopkins Seegmiller as featured guest. The evening also brings local talent on stage: dancers from area ballet companies, Irish dancers and the Casteel High School Choir. Mesa Arts Center recommends the show for ages 6 and up. It is a single evening performance on the Monday before Christmas; tickets are sold online through the arts center's box office at all-in prices, and parking in the south lot or the Sirrine Street Garage is $10, so allow extra time for downtown traffic in the holiday week.
