About this adventure

The Phoenix Boys Choir opens its 79th season, 'Pathways', with its holiday concert series built around Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols — the choir's first performance of the piece, for choir and harp — alongside other holiday favorites with soloists and a chamber orchestra. The boy singers range from elementary to high-school age, which makes the concert a good introduction to choral music for children and a chance to see young performers on stage. This record covers the evening performance in the MIM Music Theater at the Musical Instrument Museum on Friday, December 18 at 7:00 pm; the same program is also sung at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Ahwatukee (Dec 12, 12:30 pm), Brophy Chapel in Phoenix (Dec 13, 3 pm) and Camelback Bible Church in Paradise Valley (Dec 19, 6:30 pm). Tickets for the MIM date are 'coming soon' on the choir's site.
