Glendale's Movies By Moonlight series brings free-to-attend, family-friendly outdoor movie nights to a different city park each month. The December screening is at Murphy Park in Historic Downtown Glendale on Friday, December 11, during the Glendale Glitters holiday-lights season, so families can combine the film with a walk under the lights. Bring blankets or low chairs and something warm, as December evenings are cool. The city lists the 2026–27 dates and parks (Oct 16 Sahuaro Ranch Park, Nov 13 Rose Lane Park, Dec 11 Murphy Park, then Foothills Park South, Paseo Sports Complex and Heroes Regional Park in 2027); the October screening started at 6:30 p.m., but the December film title and start time are not yet published.
