Explore Your Park at Wallace Park Playground

About this adventure

The last stop of Portland Parks' fall Explore Your Park series lands at Wallace Park in Northwest Portland on the Monday of Thanksgiving week. Educators set up activity tables by the playground and post a self-guided scavenger hunt around the park; families grab a stamp card at check-in, collect a stamp at each signed stop and return the completed card for a sticker. Staff are there to help with clues and to share nature materials and creature features, and hot cocoa and cider are on offer. It is free, needs no registration, welcomes all ages and goes ahead rain or shine, with the two-hour window letting families drop in whenever suits them.
