About this adventure

Providence Place opens its holiday season on Black Friday evening with Lights Up, a tree-lighting party built around the mall's 70-foot walk-through Christmas tree. Festivities start at 5 PM with festive treats, live music and a special keepsake for guests, and the tree is lit at 5:30 PM. After the lighting, children can walk through the inside of the giant tree. The event is indoors, so it works in any weather, and it is an easy add-on to a visit with Santa at the mall's Arctic Clipper photo set.
