About this adventure

Ocean House, the grand seaside hotel in Watch Hill, holds its annual Christmas tree lighting on its front drive on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and it is open to the public. Santa Claus arrives in Watch Hill by fire truck, the tree is lit, and the evening ends with a fireworks display. Guests are offered complimentary hot chocolate and an assortment of Christmas cookies. In the spirit of giving, families are encouraged to bring an unwrapped, boxed toy for donation. Everything takes place outdoors, and the hotel interior is reserved for overnight guests, so dress warmly. The hotel describes it as perfect for all ages.
