About this adventure

Union City Library runs Music for Everyone, a sensory-friendly music session for children and teenagers that the library labels special needs friendly. Led by music therapist Peter Knezevich, who has taught music and art to children with autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions and draws on his own experience with ADHD and dyslexia, the hour gives young people a creative outlet through music with no experience or instruments needed. Upcoming sessions are Saturday, November 7 and Saturday, December 12, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Space is limited to about a dozen participants, so families register to reserve a spot; registration opens ten days before each session and a waitlist opens when it fills. A caregiver must stay with each child. Accommodation requests go to the library's organizer, and an ASL interpreter or captioning can be arranged with at least seven days' notice.
