About this adventure

Towson's Wiltondale neighborhood runs its annual 5K and a one-mile kids fun run to raise money for the upkeep of the playground equipment and park space at Greenwood Park. Children start the morning with the kids fun run at 8:00, half an hour before the adult 5K, so families can do both. The 5K is a single loop through the leafy neighborhood with a few turns and hills, starting and finishing in the Wiltondale Pool parking lot. Every registered participant gets a tri-blend tee and a bib, races are timed by Maryland Timing Event Services, and water and light refreshments are provided. Small $10 prizes go to the first male and female finisher in each age group, including a 12-and-under group. Packet pickup is the evening before at the same lot. The race goes on rain or shine and fees are non-refundable.
