About this adventure
Hollydell Ice Arena in Sewell runs public skating sessions on two rinks a short distance apart on Holly Dell Drive: the CDM rink at number 601 and the Hollydell North rink at number 150, where weekend and holiday sessions are held. The arena posts its sessions week by week; for the week of October 26 it listed weekday lunchtime skates from 12:15 to 1:15 pm at the CDM rink, a Friday night session from 8 to 10 pm at North, and weekend afternoon sessions at North. Admission is $14, skate rental is $6 at check-in with sizes not guaranteed, and skate aids cost $5 on Friday and Saturday night sessions, which helps younger or first-time skaters. Pre-registration is available for afternoon sessions only, and the arena warns that evening sessions are high volume. Check the weekly schedule before going, since times change from week to week and around holidays.
