Christmas in Middleburg is one of Loudoun County's best-loved family holiday festivals: a day in the hunt-country village built around the famous Middleburg Hunt Review, when mounted riders and their hounds parade down Washington Street, followed by a mile-long community Christmas parade with bands, floats, local clubs and animals. The festival also brings a tree lighting with carols, shopping, caroling and family activities around town, and the volunteer-run event gives back through its GIFTS program. The 2026 festival is on Saturday, December 5, rain or shine; the detailed 2026 schedule had not been posted yet, so check times before you go. Expect heavy crowds and plan to use the shuttle parking fields outside town.
