About this adventure

Mid-November is when migratory birds that spend the winter in Middle Tennessee settle in. On this early-morning bird walk, naturalist Graham Gerdeman leads participants through the meadows, trails and forests of Edwin Warner Park looking and listening for winter arrivals. The two-hour walk starts at 7:30 am and is for ages 13 and up, a good match for teens who are starting to bird or want to learn identification from an expert. Bring binoculars if you have them and dress for a cold morning. Registration opens October 31 by emailing the Warner Park Nature Center or calling 615-862-8555.
