About this adventure
On the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, the Academy of Russian Ballet and Northern Virginia Ballet stage the traditional version of The Nutcracker at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, following Clara through the waltzing snowflakes to the Kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy. The production features detailed costumes, European hand-painted sets and award-winning dancers. With a 2 p.m. matinee and a 6 p.m. show and a $40 child price, it is one of the more affordable full-length Nutcrackers in Northern Virginia.
