About this adventure
Virginia National Ballet opens the Nutcracker season on the day after Thanksgiving with two performances at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas: a 2 p.m. matinee and a 6:30 p.m. show. The production is known for its spectacular backdrops and scenery, beautiful costumes and polished choreography, and it tends to sell out early, which makes it a good Black Friday family outing for anyone who wants to start the holidays with a ballet. Children's tickets (ages 3–11) are priced below adult seats.
