Grammy-winning children's singer-songwriter Joanie Leeds plays a December concert of her children's music in the State Theatre's Studio, with singing and dancing along. It is part of Milk & Cookies, the theatre's interactive storytelling and music series that introduces children ages 3 to 8 to live performance. Shows last about 40 minutes, and every child gets a cookie and a carton of milk afterwards. There are two shows: 10 am, and a sensory-friendly show at 12 pm with lower sound, freedom to move around or make noise, and headphones and weighted blankets available. Tickets are $5, and everyone needs one regardless of age.
